Delete Your Account
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This page explains how to permanently delete your Storm Range account
(app developer: Brimir Clough, sole proprietor) and what happens to your data
when you do.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. If you want to keep your shooting
data, export it first: in the app, open Settings → Backup & restore and
save a backup file to your device before you delete.
Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app (fastest)
- Open Storm Range and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to Delete my account.
- Tap Delete my account, then type your phone number to confirm.
The deletion happens immediately. Your account and its server-side data are erased in a
single all-or-nothing operation, your device is wiped, and the app returns to a fresh-install
state.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
If you no longer have the app installed, or you cannot sign in, email
ballistics.precise738@passmail.net
from — or naming — the phone number or email address on the account, with the subject
"Delete my account".
We will verify that the request comes from the account holder (we may ask you to confirm a
code sent to the account's phone number, so that nobody else can delete your account) and then
delete it. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
Everything on our servers that belongs to your account, including:
- Your account record and phone number, and any email address on it
- All sign-in sessions and one-time codes
- Your cloud backup — every synced record (gear, profiles, loads, stages, campaigns, logs)
- Lobbies you hosted or sat in, the results of online sim runs you played, and your ratings
- Your avatar, notification settings and preferences
- Subscription and entitlement records held by us
Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no recovery window and no archived copy kept
for later restoration. If you sign up again with the same phone number, you get a brand-new,
empty account.
What is not deleted, and why
- Data on your own devices. Storm Range is local-first — most of your
shooting data lives on your device, not our servers. Deleting in the app also wipes that
device; if you used the app on another device, delete it there or uninstall the app.
- Content other people already hold. If somebody played a stage or campaign you hosted,
the copy that landed on their device is theirs and stays there.
- Purchase records held by the app stores. Google Play, Apple and our
payment processor keep their own transaction records; we cannot delete those. Contact the
store for their retention and refund policies.
- Records we must keep by law — for example tax and accounting records for
a purchase. These are retained only as long as legally required, and are not used to
re-identify you as a user.
- Anonymous, non-identifying operational data such as aggregate service
metrics, which cannot be traced back to you.
Cancel a subscription first
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription bought
through an app store. If you subscribed through Google Play or Apple, cancel it in that store's
subscription settings, or it will keep renewing.
